I'll take a wild guess and say, plenty people of the more than 740,000 in NC 11th district probably care, as they prepare to vote on May 17th. I'm sure his antics have changed some people vote, even if he still does win. Also, the two senators from NC, who decided not to support his reelection cared.

Nobody should really care about Deep/Heard, they are not elected official who can impact people lives, but I'm sure some people care about that also. The BBC is showing it live everyday over there in the UK.
