You can’t compromise on freedom and bodily autonomy, you either have it or you don’t.

I can understand the feds enforcing their own laws, but cities, counties and states? That isnt right.

There are other federal laws that cities, counties states enforce aggressively as well.

In fact, I cannot think of any federal law, that states, cities and counties refuse to enforce? (they are all in lock step with the feds.)
There are numerous federal laws, that realistically states, counties, municipalities chose to not address or enforce. They may not acknowledge it, but it certainly occurs.

We know a lot more about fetal development than in the past. I say let the state government representatives decide on when to restrict abortions.
I'll 100% give you that a fetus with a heartbeat is it's own person and isn't part of the mother.

I still argue that the mother has the right to choose to not continue the pregnancy.

I agree but with abortion how do you deal with the fact that there are two bodies involved? The body of the mother and the body of the baby. It’s super complicated for this reason.

Prescription abortion pill is not a medical procedure. Half the abortions in the US are via the abortion pill.

There will be a new kind of "drug dealer" in many states once abortion pills are banned in those states.

Abortion Pills Now Account for More Than Half of U.S. Abortions

The data, released in a report Thursday, is a sign that medication abortion has become the most accessible and preferred method for terminating pregnancy.

And that's pretty much how I believe....but for me I can't actually reconcile those two sentences. I truly understand a lot of the points made from both sides.

You're right. I think you and I feel similarly on the issue, at least partly.

Sounds like you're a fellow Libra. ;D
