Abortion ranks below those things in my list of priorities. Abortion is also legal up until the moment of birth in my state, a position I find extreme even though I am pro abortion rights to a point.

you are confusing the party's...using authoritative measures for medical purpose is in no way the same as decades of being on the wrong side of all social issues of the republican party, you must be fairly young

Vote for republicans they are so laser focused on the abortion issue I'm willing to vote for a moderate dem like my governor gov beshear. Since ky is pretty much a red state, imo voting for a dem is going to be a win for women, he isn't an extremist dem. We need more moderate dems to vote for.
Voting third party won’t do anything to get the Dems out of power so I’m voting 100% Republican. I don’t know what happened to Moderate Dems, they seem to have vanished.

And once again Republicans figure out how to screw up an election. Damn bible thumpers are so brainwashed they can't even see it. Next up, can't go out without a male relative, must cover body and face, repeal the right to vote, arranged marriages.

I’m not confused at all.

The Dems are pro mask and vaccine mandates. They are pro shutting down businesses. They are pro hypocrisy looking the other way while cities are destroyed via BLM protest and riots and making Jan 6th seem like a government overthrow attempt. They were pro keeping kids out of school for way too long and called mothers who spoke up, racists. They have trouble saying the word, “Women” and are allowing men and boys into women’s sports, bathrooms, locker rooms and prisons.

I’m not young. When I was young, I was a liberal and I voted for Democrats.

And if the people of a state want change all they need to do is vote it in at the state level.
Maybe the red states will turn blue over this issue......

I don't get the logic of being pro forced birth then not wanting to have anything to do with the baby once its born. Republicans are against social programs they don't want to expand Medicaid in their states etc. but taxes will have to be raised to take care of the many thousands of unwanted children that will be born. It's going to cost society financially and in terms of crime etc to ban abortion. I guess republicans really are for higher taxes then as long as we're oppressing women and saving those precious gifts from Jesus. Oh well.

I’m worried that the blue states will become bluer and the red states redder. I prefer purple states and I think those might go away with this.

If they go too far then I think some states could go blue over this issue.

well we are each entitled to our opinion, i will agree the left has been a little discombobulated lately, conservatives have never stood for the little guy only business, the new populist section of the republican party may just have more liberal tendencies than they realize
