Given they haven't managed that at the border and whine to the federal government about it, probably not. That's not to say the male Christian right wing don't fantasize about that very scenario mind. They're so pro-life they'd love to shoot people who had an abortion, surprised I haven't seen calls for the death penalty for anyone who dare get one.

OR, maybe shoot to kill women who are fleeing to get an abortion, thus killing the mom and the baby.
But hey, we didn't let her get away with having sex without consequences!
The GOP will make abortion illegal in the US if they can get enough votes to pass the bill, and if they control the presidency. This will be their goal for the coming years - gain control of house, senate and presidency and pass/sign law that makes abortion illegal in all states. McConnell confirmed this is a possibility. Then crossing state lines wouldn't matter because it would be illegal nationwide. Would need to go to a diff country then.

Yes, there were posters who want the death penalty for women who procure an abortion.
Sure would be nice if those people would all wear that sentiment on a t-shirt or hat, so we could spot them and avoid them.

What's shocking is the torrent of ideas designed to strip a woman's right to chose from almost every male orifice of the GOP. The gates were opened by the Conservative SC and it's taken less than a week to see a slew of "ideas" spew forth like a backed up toilet.

A women has every right to chose what she does with her body up until she chooses to have unprotected sex. She loses that right when it involves another innocent human being. In fact, that goes for everyone, everyday, too, no matter the circumstances.

they will eventually drive more moderate people away, and i would say the evangelicals are just about at their peak power and on the verge of making the party they stick with more minority
The hard conservatives are mostly white. Their kids stopped going to church - getting married or having kids. They want zero abortions. They know the poor will get it done, in the kitchen, if have to, but their little princess may not do that. Think of how this was played years ago ?
Their main focus after this “stop”, is privatized schools where they can regrow the little minds into what the want. No more talk of abortions, gays or transgender anything. Americana 101.
