They tried during Obama's Administration but didn't quite get it done in every state.
More like congratulations to Shell and other oil companies for making more effing money than ever effing before!

Shell posts record quarterly profit, lifted by energy price surge

But, yeah, blame this president and the one before last, too

Tell me what Shell has done to contribute to this situation.

We know what Biden has done.

Good, now they will have the funds to invest in finding new resources. As long as government gets out of the way, the market will take care of itself. Of course, Brandon is standing in their way.

It’s a fact. I saw it on Facebook.

Oh, you're going with the Putin angle instead of the Oil companies gouging? How progressive of you since 2008. Used to be the fault of the oil companies. #Hillary#pelosi#Biden#everydemocrat

Joe, you've been fooled. I like you but dang, you're being lied to. Go look at PROFIT MARGINS and the up and downs of the oil industry.

For such a powerful industry *cough* they lose many many billions some years and the raw resources are often in the control of foreign countries (like Canada, Saudi Arabia etc.)

Yup. Obama clearly stated higher energy/fuel prices as a goal.

And I also remember when democrats were outraged at Trump when gas was $3 a gallon.

By clicking this link I agree that I am a raging hypocrite that needs help (applies to democrats only). Anyone right of Chairman Mao is exempt.

Much of it is global but a lot is that the emphasis is on moving off gas to renewables. Right?

Sooooo, imagine your company makes hula hoops but the government is saying they cause spine injuries and will eventually phase them out. So, what do you do when a surge of interest in hula hoops spikes prices? Invest in a 10 year recoup by building a factory? Or do you say, well this is temporary and if we build a new factory this will bankrupt us in the future?

Oil prices are high, but they have been this high before like in 2011-2012 and parts of 2013 and 2014 and gas was never near this high. Oil prices were in fact much higher reaching a record of like $140 something in 2008 and gas prices still were not near this high!!

Its mind boggling. Are they having production and refinery issues as well?? Cause we have seen this rodeo before in oil prices yet gasoline prices while high then were not near this bad.
