lots of great insight here.

Unless you’re a coward like 90% of the media and 100% of the foreign-policy class in Washington, you realize now the furor that consumed the country for three years did not originate with Donald Trump or even Russia, but with a Clinton-sponsored hoax.

Mr. Trump may be a compendium of human vices but he will always be the president who withstood the most insidious, organized slur in modern memory. His enemies did that for him, not least among them a largely cretinous media that showed its true colors, which turned out to have nothing to do with fearless and searching concern for the truth.

Worth noting, in light of recent events, is also the coterie of “experts,” in and out of government, upon whom we rely to shape attitudes and policy toward such places as Russia and Ukraine. Since America is likely to have a GOP president and Congress again, we might need an entirely new foreign-policy elite, untainted and uncorrupted by their participation in the collusion lie or their cowardice in not opposing it.
What Did the Steele Dossier Hoax Cost America?

It cost America all the pain that the Biden Bunch are busy dropping on us right now. They are either doing this because they are inept or it is on purpose. I don't believe they are this stupid, they might be that Woke but not Stupid...

The cost, to have us realize that the mass media are the propaganda arm of the Democrats and that the Democrats are no longer our Friends and allies is Huuuge!

The Cost is what we are paying right now for daring to question Them and daring to elect a DC outsider that took them to task by draining the swamp and showing us that we can do better as a country.

The Steele Dossier cost us the greatest cheerleader for America.

It opened everyone’s eyes as to what is really going on. The trust we once had for the media is irreparably harmed and it will never go back to how it was. Not ever.

I actually have no idea what CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, NYT, WaPost, etc. are saying on a regular basis because I refuse to listen to anything they report.

You lie to me for political gain, that’s what you get. I just turn you off.

I think the biggest cost of this attempted coup is an utter loss of trust between left and right.

there is zero belief between the sides, that the other has the best interests of the nation in mind.

If you take into account all of the dominos that have fallen since then - I think this is accurate.

The attempted “Russia Collusion Hoax’ coup failed. Time to round up the participants.

Cost hatred across the country.
You will never convince Dems. that a good person like Clinton made it all up. It had to be Trump and Putin. Had to be Russia Russia Russia.
