America used to be populated by grownups, now it seem we are a bunch of thin skinned babies.

Having had four years of a President who is a thin skinned baby probably didn't help.

University of Illinois Chicago wants to cancel the word ‘obesity’ because it’s ‘racist’

Hasn't it occurred to anyone that the most appropriate response to all of these obviously unimportant and irrelevant ideas, is just to ignore them?

Whether some leftist nutcase says that "'obesity' is racist, or he's a woman (despite having a penis etc.) because he really wants to be a woman, or someone who offended him is a white supremacist when obviously no "white supremacy" was ever present, or etc....

...the best response is to pat him on the head, maybe give him a cookie, and say, "Well, isn't that nice, good for you."

That's racist. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Thin skinned? I remember you all were destroying your own cities the day Trump was elected, starting with Washington DNC. The lame stream media was proudly reporting all the chaos and destruction that was happening, all because the orange man defeated your swamp creature.

So all these whackadoodle SJW ideas coming out of our universities for the past years are Trump's fault?

Now THAT is a stretch.

That's the problem. These people have been widely ignored for years, and look at where this has gotten us. People ignored these "nutcases" years ago, now those "nutcases" are working their way into the mainstream. Where the "nutcases" are now the people that point these things out.

Incorrect. Look at the outlier:

Agree. We should call them Fat. That's what they are, that's how they look, and that's what all that jiggling stuff under their skin is.

Fat is more accurate, it's 1 syllable instead of 2, it's easy to spell, it's pronounced like at, cat, bat.

FAT it is!

Obesity has never been figured right anyway. When I was working full time I was 6' and 250 lbs. Obese by their terms, but I needed the mass to carry 300 lb rolls of carpet by myself. A vinyl roller weighs 100 lbs. A carpet stretcher in the case can weigh 100 lbs. I worked 14-16 hours a day wrestling all this stuff. The size was necessary. Since I retired, I am smaller, but probably still obese by their standards.
Most athletes are obese by their standards too.
