Glad to see you included a generator on your list. I have been reading all the preppers on this thread filling their freezers. That's great until the electricity goes off for a week. Likewise for cooking. Even a lot of gas stoves don't work when the electricity goes off. Good luck boiling water on your propane grill. Most of them don't get very hot.
As for canned food... I bought some at the start of the pandemic. Found a lot of it to be inedible. Ended up giving it to a local food pantry.
Lots of dried beans, rice, seeds and nuts. Guns, crossbows and ammo to defend it. Cabins far up north with a group of about 10 survivalists and their families in the middle of nowhere if things get bad. Catching fish is pretty easy and fun up there. Pine needle tea is an excellent source of vitamin A and C. And don't forget your gold (money of kings) and silver (money of gentlemen).
How are you prepping now for the food shortage that is going to hit?
Same as always.
We have a long established organic garden where we grow and freeze much of our food, plus an orchard, chickens, and a pond stocked with fish.
That is not true. I know lots about food and nutrition.
You can also pull out the insta if you prefer- and it would be cheaper and taste better
...huh?...you're telling me that a can of Del Monte green beans that has had the enzymes and vitamins completely cooked out of it is as nutritious as a handful of freshly picked green beans from the garden?...that's nonsense...
I have a good stash of canned and dried goods. I’m also stocked up on ammo
