State Farm, the household-name insurance company, has abandoned its program to distribute LGBTQ-themed books to teachers, community centers, and libraries, explicitly targeting children as young as kindergartners, after a media exposé based on a whistleblower email caught the company by surprise on Monday.
I think what they meant to say was State Farm cancelled the program after the marketplace handed their *** to them

ATLANTA – Health officials on both sides of the Atlantic are cautioning gay and bisexual men to be cautious as numbers of infections of the non-lethal monkeypox continue to climb. The outbreak according to the World Health Organization can be traced to sexual activity stemming from LGBTQ+ events, one in the Spanish in the Canary Islands and the other in Belgium.
The chairman of the World Health Organization Emergency Committee, Professor David L. Heymann told reporters that WHO researchers determined that cases were confirmed stemming from an LGBTQ+ Pride celebration in the Canary Islands that drew tens of thousands of revelers and linked to the Darklands Festival, a large-scale fetish festival in the port city of Antwerp, Belgium.

“We know monkeypox can spread when there is close contact with the lesions of someone who is infected,” Heymann said. “And it looks like the sexual contact has now amplified that transmission.”

Its clever marketing!
Not good marketing if far more current customers cancel their policies in disgust and switch to competitors. I have never understood why companies think it's good to cater to the .01% at the risk of alienating the 99.9% (or whatever the percentage is).

They're not. As they often do, they are helping the public get access to peer-reviewed publications that relate topics that are poorly understood by much of the public, in the face of a huge amount of agenda-driven misinformation.

State Farm, and all other corporations, contribute to all kinds of efforts to further public education.

All of you who will cancel State Farm, be sure to take a look at every single pudlic awareness effort the other companies have contributed to. Good luck finding one that never went against your lily-white ignorant prejudices.

SF "has been accused of pushing"? That's all you need -- Cancel. And warn everyone else to.

Is 'peer-reviewed publications' the new liberal news speak for Children's books? Because that is what these were, they were being targeted at Kindergarteners, not some dissertation by a researcher who was giving a speech to a group of adults.

There is no shortage of information out there for the public to find out about the LGBTQ alphabet community. They don't need an insurance company working to push this on Children. As soon as it was exposed, the public made themselves known and they backtracked ending the program.

How many times have liberals tried to "cancel" a company because they go against the liberal progressive agenda? What if State Farm went out and was offering books that were against something like abortion? I am sure you would be here saying the same thing..Right?

I have been with them for over 40 years. I would switch, but the rates I am getting can't be touched by any other company.

I know many insurance agents and they all tend to be on the conservative side of the coin...not all of them but many. Sounds like this didn't sit well with the agents at all....rightfully so! Go woke, go broke didn't sit well with Jake.

Regardless of my politics, I wouldn't want my company potentially angering some of my clients by doing something questionable like this.

Now if SF wants to donate money to a LGBTQ charity that's completely different.
