Russian Ministry of Defense claims it destroyed two of Ukraine's HIMARS rocket artillery systems, and posts video to prove it. Apparently, the two 16.2 ton, 7 m long, 3.2. m high, 2.4 m wide HIMARS vehicles were hidden in a room on the second floor of a building in Kharkiv.
Sorry, I should have clarified this; they don't need more of their own currency.
What the previous article signifies is Saudi Arabia being willing to break our agreement existing since WW2, that oil sold globally must be paid in U.S. dollars. This, of course; ties into how Russian oil is sold to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has increased their importation of Russian oil, to restore low reserves; I believe by 20% this year...would have to dig it up but at least 15%.
This, of course; is financing their continued campaign in Ukraine...along with being a workaround for economic sanctions.
And finally, hope this one helps to explain the currency: https://markets.businessinsider.com/...ncy-imf-2022-6
The White House on Monday announced another $550 million in security assistance for Ukraine. Pentagon press secretary John Kirby announced the new assistance in Monday’s White House news briefing, explaining that the new aid will include ammunition for howitzers and for HIMARS, or high mobility artillery rocket systems. The United States has now provided about $8.8 billion in security assistance to Ukraine during the Biden administration.
that's 8.8 billion spent so far, out of 54 billion approved for Ukraine..
But why would China need more of its own money? China and Russia both need as much hard currency as they can get. Doesn't have to be US $$. Could be the Deutschmark. Unless they're planning on paying for their imports with gallon jugs of oil. Nobody (who is anybody) wants rubles or renminbi in payment for whatever they sell to Russia.
Lol, yeah I think most of us will trust Economic scholars and most leading experts say about Russian's economic suicide.
Everything else is nonsense propaganda that are typical of countries like Russia and China. Without free press, anything you hear coming out of those countries should be taken with a huge bag of salt.
Every leading expert in the free world pretty much forecasts dire times for Russia. And it doesn't take a genius to figure out in this global economy that NO country can flourish without world trade. Look at North Korea, their citizens are miserable (well the non-elite) and whether it takes a few yrs or decades, eventually the common people will overthrow that EXALTED psychotic leader and get somebody who actually cares about their people.
Except the US is the most propagandized nation in the world.
The US has built up a ton of credibility over the past century but is being more exposed due to proliferation of independent media made possible by the internet.
First we heard how incompetent the Russian military is, how outdated and unmaintained their Soviet era equipment is.
But yet they've been making gains, slowly and methodically. Even the media now has to admit that Russia is winning the war.
And let's not forget how prior to Feb of this year, all the publications touted how Ukraine was the most corrupt nation in Europe. But right at the onset of the invasion, they suddenly became a beacon of hope and all things good.
To steer this back on topic, Russia will align with China/BRICS and will be doing just fine economically.
Europe is the economy in crisis, and the US will be next.

False reasoning. It is a stupid trumped up claim. Russia is the provocator here.
By that standard anyone can attack anyone. Russia can't react to anything that Ukraine does within it's own borders, defending itself from Russian incursions. Putin has no rights within another sovereign state.
So Russia can use this flimsy excuse to claim something that doesn't exist, just to get at another country's coal, gas and shipyards. I can't believe anyone falls for this nonsense. I don't believe you even fall for it, you just pump the nonsense out there.
You speak as if you were an authority.
Well, the UN Charter disagrees with you.
