Everyday Russians are dying. Ukrainians (who Putin hopes will be future Russians) are dying. I don't see Russia winning here.
This is why Pelosi went to Taiwan to try to trigger a war. She understands if China invades Taiwan, a bunch of Chinese people will die and America comes out ahead.
Those of you who live in the free world, but, for whatever reasons, try to justify the Russian invasion in Ukraine, or sympathize Russian freedom and democracy oppressors in this thread, who of you would freely give up what they have and move to live under Russian or Belarus' regime? Who of you want to live like insects under a psychopathic dictator?
Russian troops burning Ukraine war dead in mobile incinerators
Quote:
British war correspondent David Patrikarakos reported Saturday that Russian troops in occupied Kherson are using the incinerators, which burn “night and day,” in an attempt to hide mass civilian casualties.
Quote:
According to the reporter, Putin’s soldiers are trying to eliminate mass graves because they “leave behind evidence of war crimes. By burning the bodies, they destroy the evidence.
There is place for only one person in that chamber.
Cremation normally takes about 2 hours, plus 1 for cooling.
At that rate you would need dozens of such devices in order to burn so many corpses that anyone would smell it. In fact, the device seems modern, I bet there is no smell at all. It's not a BBQ. That thing is built for burning hazardous biological waste, after all.
And why in Kherson?! The bulk of dead people are near the Donbass...
no, you are mistaken....or just wrong...it's happening now and it's happening for real....why now?...because Kherson is the next battleground and the Russians don't want any more war crimes exposed than they already have...simple, really..so as goes Kherson, so goes the war.......maybe..

The Russians haven't thrown even a tenth of what they have at the Ukranians. Not to say that they would be a match for the US or NATO - but they've got enough to take out the Ukraine. No. There's something else at work here. Something more than just what was meant to appear to be an invasion to annex Ukraine.
You've basically articulated the reason why so many whiffed on Russia's progress. Russia today is not the Russia of 1944 and Operation Bagration. It's a depleted country that doesn't have bottomless manpower reserves, a corrupt military, and an industrial base that can't produce the materials of war.
The longer Russia goes without winning this, the more likely Russia simply collapses economically.
LOL. MOST PEOPLE listen to the scholars. .......The Russians haven't thrown even a tenth of what they have at the Ukranians. .
The scholars at Yale say Russia is collapsing.
Russia CAN'T use all their forces. Some are in Syria and others must guard the various borders in an enormous country. Ukraine, in contrast, CAN use all its forces. And, because they are being provided with weapons by 29 countries, Ukraine will never run out of war materiel.
The war will go on as long as Ukraine wants. And when it ends, it will only end for Ukraine. Russia must contend with isolation for many years. Meanwhile, Russia has entered a period of population collapse that will never reverse itself. Russia, in the end, will become as impoverished as Cuba with people doing what they can to leave.
Russian occupation officials may be accelerating their preparations for illegitimate pseudo-referenda on the Russian annexation of occupied Ukrainian territory.

Activity in Russian-occupied Areas

Ukrainian partisans are becoming increasingly coordinated in their propaganda and targeting activities. The Ukrainian Resistance Center reported on August 7 that Ukrainian partisans launched their first newspaper in Kherson on August 4 called “Voice of the Partisan” and claimed that partisans distributed 1,200 paper copies and a PDF of the newspaper.[50] Ukrainian partisan Telegram channel Yellow Ribbon announced a bounty of 10 bitcoin (approximately $230,000 USD) for the live capture and transfer of the Russian-appointed governor of occupied Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, to Ukraine.[51]

More Russian state TV propaganda discussed. Russian people listen to this garbage everyday. They believe it. This would explain the thinking of the Russian bots here.
