Yep.

The history on this goes back decades.

The NAACP sued, and a consent decree was put in place in 1983.

Later, a group of Chinese American parents were upset because the consent decree capped Chinese enrollment.

The parents group sued and, in 1999, got a settlement that overturned the consent decree.
