He is paid to get his team ready to play and that means standing at the top of the Dugout for the National Anthem.

Isn't Kapler one of those MoneyBall managers relying mostly on statistics. In his world it's paint by numbers in other words he thinks there's a plug in and play solution.

True. Just like no one cares about the black men killing each other every weekend in Chicago and other cities all across America or the pervasive homeless problem in San Francisco. We only care what is politically convenient and make tragedies out of it while ignoring all the other sufferings, and then rush to our favorite internet forum and make one line quips about it.

Should we celebrate a nation whose value system is such that it tolerates, even dismisses, the murder of school children, worshippers, and shoppers in deference to the desire of a very small minority to own military style weapons that have little purpose other than the efficient execution of human beings?
Well, should we celebrate a nation that does nothing to slow and prevent the violence that has plague our inner cities for years? Should we celebrate that Millions of people are swarming the Border, bending and breaking our immigration laws and our elected would rather take care of these Trespassers than our own citizens that are sleeping in the streets? How about Biden sending $40 BILLION of our tax dollars to Ukraine to help them in their war? If they should win will Biden send them a Blank Check?
There are many uses for a so called "assault weapon" beyond murdering people. Actually when you think about it any rifle is actually a long range gun. There are actually very few murders from the end of a rifle with the majority coming from hand guns. If all the AR and AK's were seized will they come for the handguns next?
