Dr. Chris Martenson Video: Will You Starve to Death This Year? (conspiracy, economy)

I usually don't have time to watch a video especially 46 minutes in length but I did watch this one and found it informative. Dr. Martenson (who I never heard of before) until recently explains about what's going on with diesel fuel, the economy, etc. He urges everyone to plant a garden (which I have done already).

Of course there are many who will give me backlash for obvious reasons: it's scary what is going on! Believe me, I would love to bury my head in the sand and not deal with what's going on but I'm the type of person who could never do that. I would rather hear other people's opinions then escape to a good movie (though I do that too).

If you plant a garden, you had better have guns and ammo to protect it, or you are wasting your time and effort.

I do believe we will return to an agrarian society at some point in the future, but it must be defended.

People can't farm if they don't have fertilizer which comes from diesel. You respond without watching the video. That's smart.

Exactly. If people are literally starving, your backyard garden will be picked clean by someone with a gun.

IMO 45 minutes is not a long time. Instead of posting you could be watching (or watch it in parts). I'm a caregiver to my elderly mother and I made time (I did watch it in parts) but I did see the entire video.

I do that quite frequently, BTW. Post summaries of stuff I've watched that's long, for those who would like a thumb print.

45 minutes is a VERY long time, to devote to one video that may be just a crack pot yakking.

I do like what he says about growing a garden.

We listened to him quite a bit at the beginning of the pandemic. I don't know what happened, but he seems to have gone sideways and started glomming onto conspiracy theories.
