Many times kids don't really need a reason to bully/attack another kid. If the bullied kid is special needs or different, that may be their only reason. And some kids are just bad.
not in this case. they drove up to find a specific person. this clearly wasn't for "fun". stories like this are why people need to stop jumping to conclusions. for all we know the other teens might be the victim of her bullying.
In other words, your thinking is "What did you do to make them come over as a group, late at night, threaten to break into their home then beat the holy crap out her mother, then flee"?
That's how you think?
Wowsa, that's bizarre.
That's like the old "what was the rape victim wearing and was she acting seductively" side of the argument.
slippery slope there, buddy. a smart person would ask, "why did these girls go there to fight her, what did she do to make them want to fight her?". the world isn't like some goofy tv sitcom where whomever has the biggest tears is the victim. this is real life, you have to ask those type of questions. they obviously went there for a reason.

A car full of girls who would drive to another girls house and say if she doesn’t come out to get beaten up they’re going to go in the house themselves and then two of them jump the mother and leave her black and blue and bloodied might be the problem.
That would be more likely. To say they’re lovely reasonable girls the daughter has wronged seems … much less likely.
i don't have a dog in this fight but there's another side to the story. And my first question is usually "what did you do to make them hit you?" or in this case "what did the daughter do to make these girls want to fight her?"
You say you were raped, ma'am? Well my first question for you is what kind of clothing you were wearing? And what did you do to make this gentleman want to rape you? Were you wanton? Methinks you wanted it, ma'am. And you deserved it. Case dismissed.
