There's a **** ton of propaganda and when it's all said and done, MSM is going to lose all credibility. They know this and are trying to backpedal right now by actually publishing articles that show Russia actually winning.
But they've accomplished their mission. They got their ratings, the MICC got to push their war agenda, got $50B to pass, and got to villainize and isolate Russa/Putin.

Funny, we call Russia media state media but ignore that all our large media outlets are mouthpieces for the establishment. We have state media at the largest scale.

Define "our government". We did install puppet regimes all over.

So they were hitting a lot of civilians in the process, and then tried to pass the whole thing ( all those dead bodies) as "Russians orchestrated the mass murder of the innocent civilians."
I am sure that SOME died as the result of the Russian actions too, but it was definitely NOT what Ukrainian propaganda made out of it.

Ukrainian troops used those high rises for these purposes.
They were literally kicking residents out from apartments and taking over them.
Obviously LDNR/Russian troops had to respond and to keep fighting in those residential areas.
With that being said, Ukrainian troops mined the roads leading to/from Mariupol, keeping residents in and shooting them, when they were trying to flee.
( They let some out first, running into Ukraine's direction; apparently they were considered loyal to regime.)
The rest were used as the live shield.
That's why Mariupol was such a disaster, such loss of life and total destruction - because of these factors, and not because Russians were doing it intentionally - targeting civilians or residential districts, as Ukrainian propaganda wanted everyone believe.
I already posted city of Svetlodarsk for comparison - Ukrainian troops left it without fight, so the city ( and population) was spared.
But Ukrainian propaganda keeps on pushing the narrative that it's the Russians that want to destroy the cities and to kill civilians.
