There's a problem with certain species of bees in California. California is a huge agricultural powerhouse, and bees are essential to agricultural food production.
Someone says well, we've got this existing governmental agency, the Fish and Game Commission, and they're capable of handling this. Let's hand off the Bee problem to them - they're already dealing with things that aren't fish and game, such as crawdads and snails. They're capable - how about that?
Normal people - "yes, that would be fine, that's a good solution".
Breitbart and their followers - "WHAT???? BEES AREN'T FISH! They should create an entire new governmental agency, the bumblebee agency, to solve this problem! Bees aren't fish! hahahahahahaha"
not a single poster, nor breitbart, said anything remotely like this. your desperation is showing.

At this point, she is mostly trolling. I have not heard a sound argument as to why bees should be classified as fish. It is a denial of basic entomology.

Yes. It's been happening in thread after thread. Obtuse arguments over things other than the actual point of the thread, in order to derail a thread which points out the things Democrats are doing.
Can't wait to see the court case where someone has to destroy a "fish hive" inside their house and make it stick. The same loons commenting on being ok with this also think they are experts on AR15s that have never touched one. Hopefully the "fish hive" case makes it to a jury trial so the stupidity goes National.
But you, and Breitbart, would rather they sit back and work this thing through the committees and call a vote.
We would rather have it done the way the law says it should be done. If you don't see any danger in sidestepping the law, then I'm sorry. It may be a benign or even honorable "cause" this time around. But what about next time when it isn't? And the time after that? What happens when they start ramrodding any and everything through, good or bad, via sidestepping the process and making ludicrous leaps via changing the English language?
I agree 100% bees need to be protected, this should have been done well over a decade ago when it became clear there was a huge problem on the horizon. But that means legislators need to write a new law or amend the old one, not that judges omnisciently declare bees are no longer considered insects.
YES... BEES need to be protected....they are 'in fact' endangered' and crucial to the Eco System of our Planet.
I must say that it'll be interesting to read about Californians charged with violating fishing laws and/or their lawyers argue in court that no violation of fishing laws actually took place , since fish are actually bees .
On that note the California Department of Fish and Wildlife may as well start requiring that people hold bee fishing licenses if they actually want to catch fish , since why shouldn't the tread down the path of ludicrousness become all the more nonsensical .
