Back in the day my wife and friends would not even listen to me on the subject. They said "Cuomo is doing the best he can."

It was not even just the masks and the isolation, but the students were all treated as though they were a walking disease pathogen. How does that affect their self image? Children are learning about themselves and they are being taught that sort of thing.

You’re right. It doesn’t matter to adults scared of the virus. Their health is more important to them than any negative consequences for kids.

And the attitude of the ones in favor of what was happening frequently referred to children as "germy little things." If that's how they view children then they need to be kept away from them for the kids' protection. Poor kids having to hear that from their teachers and other adults. "You are such a germy little thing."

Yep. I lost respect for a lot of adults during the pandemic for being totally on board with this kind of thing.

And now the sad truth is beginning to show its ugly head and how our nation's children are paying the price for politically motivated, unscientific, and obvious stupid covid policies which were forced upon them.

Around here there were parents that made their children wear masks pretty much all the time. They were often not wearing masks themselves when the kids were. They were all concerned about the kids giving them something. It showed me some of the parents that didn't love their children. The mental scarring on these kids are unknown still.
