The guidance came from liberals and Marxists in his administration, who continue to pull Joey's puppet strings.

You're right, though, Trump was wrong to listen to Dr. Fauci and the other career bureaucrats in the "public health" apparatus. Their agenda was and is political, not scientific or medical.

that's my point.

I daresay most public school systems were still virtual fall of 2020.
I feel confident that those who actually went back were wearing masks.

I can only be certain in my large school district, which stayed virtual until spring of 2021. Then went on a rotation in MS/HS (so only 1/2 the kids were present), whereby each child was in school 18-20 days total until school ended. Of course, when this was happening, they had the non-attending kids piped in virtually. With masks. This past fall, in-person attendance with masks and "lunch rules" which remained in place until March 2022.

You are so quick to blame the other political party.

So what party does Fauci represent because it was him calling the shots ?

And what about 2021 when Biden was in charge ?

Both parties are bad. Fauci was employed by Trump's administration and continues in Biden. Guess both parties recognize him as the expert.

In the early spring 2020 we may have shut down schools to "flatten the curve" that was supposed to be two weeks away, and at the time most people thought it'd just be for a few weeks.

Flash forward to fall 2020, the blue states were firmly shut and having hysterias over Florida and other Red states starting to reopen schools.

Two very different situations. The first was driven by the unknown of a sudden new pandemic. The latter was driven by politics.

so, how much of what Trump wanted or proposed was actually done?

Were businesses rapidly re-opened?

Were schools - which the PH folks themselves said should be "last to close, first to open" - did they all go back to normal fall '20?

Did Democrat politicians tell us how good the vaccines would be?

Did the FDA approve the vaccines as absolutely soon as they could have, or wait (as acknowledged by Pharma CEO) until they couldn't come out before the election?

It’s important to understand the time line and which president was in charge when policy decisions were made.
The basketball courts were closed during the trump administration in march of 2020.
They were opened back up approximately a year later Jan-march, when Biden was in office for 3 months. Some towns and counties were outliers.

Fauci had been there what 40 years? To act as if Trump reached out into the PH world and plucked Fauci out of retirement to come head the Covid Task Force is laughable.

At the end of the day, all you people have is "but Trump...".

It's also important to know who was making the rules, and it wasn't the Trump WH. If it were, why did FL, TX and several other states re-open by June 2020?

This was the great debate at the time - power in the Federal government or in the states. The governors had the power.

Heck, I hear Gavin Newsom STILL has a State of Emergency.
