Not all of California is desert. For example, some parts of Northwest California receive 100+ inches of rain annually.

Hydroponics. They grow tons of lettuce indoors in Minnesota and it’s the best lettuce you’ve ever had. No bugs to deal with, no soil.

Have they put a ban on installation or sale of swimming pools and hot tubs? Have they put a stop to lawn watering (including celebrities, politicians, and city/state properties)?

Lawn watering only twice a week where I live. Effective June 1.
