In the San Joaquin valley of California in the 1960s and 1970s, it was not unusual for public schools to run out of classroom space. So they bought trailers as temporary classrooms. The Okies from the Grapes of Wrath migration brought many migratory farm workers to the area, as those children eventually attended public school, we needed classroom space.

When I began attending public school, my family was in the process of transitioning from migratory farm workers [usually pictured as living in Model-T fords], up into being share-croppers.

When I was in elementary school and in high school, nearly all of my classmates were the children of Okies. Our classrooms included many trailers and 'modular's.

Somehow I don't think that's what PullMyfFnger had in mind when he made that quip, LOL.

Exactly. All the 'injured parties' from a century ago are dead and gone. Not the case for the 'peaceful protests'. It's just fundamentally wrong to 'make whitey pay' while excusing the current climate.

1950's - Segregated Schools are racist we want Integrated Schools
2020's - Integrated Schools are racist we want Segregated Schools

I hate the term "Clown World", but seriously I have no idea what other words would fit this.

And just keep in mind that even though this is a "California" Report, their goal is not just California, they are pushing to take this to the Federal Level.
Ultimately, I am sure it's just another way to get their hands on a new pot of money they can control and distribute among their friends and family. It's ALL about the money with Democrats.

Our schools have always had them. They have too many kids and have them for the overflow.

I'm actually ok with segregated schools.
This would actually benefit white students and would lead to better academic performance for them. (less crime and trouble makers in their midst)

There should also be separation based on IQ score.
Dummies, midwits, and geniuses should be segregated so they can perform at their own level.
