"What we heard today was so one-sided," "The claim that [Trump lawyer John] Eastman took the Fifth Amendment 100 times: Nobody explains that if you take it once, you have to take it 100 times. The law is once you start answering questions, you can't take the Fifth Amendment. You've waived it.
"So people who take the Fifth have to take it 100 times."

"There was so much overstatement, and that's what happens when there's no opportunity to hear the other side: You are always going to get overstatement, because having a two-sided situation is a check and balance on overstatement," he said. "And that's what we're having – overstatement after overstatement."

Dershowitz even took his former student Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., to task for hypocrisy, noting Raskin challenged the 2016 electors for Trump. Hypocrisy at it's finest. https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/a...16/id/1074821/

. . .

It’s often forgotten that Pelosi approved McCarthy’s other GOP picks: Reps. Rodney Davis of Illinois, Kelly Armstrong of North Dakota and Troy Nehls of Texas. None of them could be characterized as liberals, and Nehls had joined Banks and Jordan in objecting to the certification of the 2020 election.
McCarthy thought that by walking away entirely, he would be able to discredit the work of the committee as “partisan.”

Is not up to Nancy who the GOP picks to cross examine her evidence and witnesses or ask questions. Nancy has said many negative things on Trump for years, does that makes her disqualified or any Democrat that has spread disinformation about Trump for years like Adam Schiff?

A majority leader of a party can't control who the minority party picks in how they like to proceed or challenge. Unless Jim Jordan or Jim Banks broke the law, Nancy just killed a bipartisan hearing to know the whole truth and how to prevent this and the role of the FBI which took the 5th.

I find it a problem when the FBI takes the 5th and the Speaker of the House allows it and proceeds. The FBI has a long history of abuses and crimes but let's hide that under the rug. Thanks for the laugh.

They'd have the weapons with them if they'd planned on using them. And you think you don't sound delusional?
The pled guilty to conspiracy
Planning the crime and moving the weapons into position is all that is required for a conspiracy conviction.
That’s why the pled guilty

No, the majority of defenders of low income plea guilty for a lesser sentence because they don't have the resources to fight the federal government. This is the American justice system. Go ask blacks and poor people about it.

You keep saying "the pled guilty", who is "the"? And what "planning" did he do and what "weapons" was he "moving"?

The person I was talking about in my posts is Zach Rehl, you would know that if you were paying attention.
He did not plead guilty.
He had no weapons.
Apparently he had no involvement in "planning a crime".

IF his lawyer proves the points he'd raised, seen in the link I'd previously provided, then he'd done nothing but trespass AND the DoJ is going after him for two simply reasons"...He's affiliated with the proud boys and he's allegedly a Trump supporter. And y'all are great with that magnitude of possible corrupt railroading and you people would love to see him imprisoned for the rest of his life for those two very same reasons. smh!

I'm a big Trump supporter but he is wrong going after Pence. He should drop that, it is hurting him. What he wanted Pence to do wouldent have worked, not a chance.
Better to emphasize the hundreds of examples of voter fraud and the 2000 Mules.

So telling the vice president that overturning a fair election is hurting Trump, that’s the reason this is wrong. We sure wouldn’t want to see Trump hurt for sending a lynch mob after his own VP.

Sure focus on the conspiracy of the day that was never taken to court, 2000 mules. Someone with any level of intelligence would ask why this hasn’t been brought before a judge but maybe I’m just naive.

How long until the next conspiracy.

Trump has proven time and time again that people are disposable to him. Bannon, Guliani, Pence etc. were all loyal to him but he had no problem turning is back on them. He demands loyalty but it is certainly a one way street. He threw Pence under the bus because he did not do something he legally could not do. The mob was asking for Pence head on a stick and Trump treated it like a after thought.
