So far, with the investigation still ongoing, three individuals have been charged for allegedly bringing a gun onto Capitol grounds on January 6. At least two other individuals have also been charged with gun crimes in relation to the events of that day, though they are not accused of carrying on Capitol grounds.
According to police testimony, Christopher Alberts was arrested leaving the Capitol grounds on January 6 while trying to flee from officers after they suspected he was carrying a firearm on his hip. Alberts was carrying a loaded pistol and 25 rounds of ammunition, according to court documents.
Guy Reffitt has been charged with illegally bringing a handgun on Capitol grounds on January 6. Reffitt allegedly told family members he "brought his gun with him" in the Capitol attack.
Mark Ibrahim, who at the time was an off-duty special agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration, has been charged with bringing his service weapon on Capitol grounds during the insurrection as well as lying to the FBI about why he was at the Capitol.
And as the police officers who testified at the committee on Tuesday made clear, rioters also used numerous other objects as weapons such as knives and bats.
This whole thing is an absolute sham and I won’t waste my time on it, not even for a second.
The election was rigged, and this is more of the same. The Dems are worried that rigging the election in 2024 won’t work this time, so they are trying to get Trump excluded right now.
The damage that would be done to this country if Trump isn’t allowed to run in 2024 is something that the Democrats either can’t see, or don’t want to see.
Hopefully the American people will see this as nothing but a political stunt by the desperate Dumocrats. I see more and more of these stunts coming out all the way to the November mid-term elections. They will create situations to get their way. I also bet there will be massive riots prior to the 2024 elections and especially at the Republican National convention, but not the Dumocrat National convention.
The ratings are in. Nearly 20 million tuned in among all the networks that aired the hearing. Leaders were ABC and MSNBC with 4.9 and 4.2 respectively, followed by NBC with 3.6 million, CBS with 3.4 million and CNN with 2.6 million. FOX, which didn’t air the hearing, drew 3 million viewers.
As a comparison, 73 million watched the first Trump-Biden presidential debate.

Every government protest and resisting arrest is an insurrection under the definition. BLM protests, LA Riots, Vietnam protests, Black protests and the list is long.
Are the Liberals protesting the Nixon and W Bush swear ins and arrests also insurrectionists? How about the liberals trying to stop Judge Kavanaugh from being swore in as a SC judge?
Is resisting arrest in any protest against the government an insurrection and obstruction? Yes or No.
Since they didn't have NO guns or killed police officers or burn down the building this should be misdemeanor not a national crisis.
Let's apply the same to the BLM protests and at least you can regain credibility back. It looks like political punishment by the people in power and the law is not being applied equally here.

I would bet most that watched were die hard democrats who wanted to validate their feelings on Jan 6th. The majority of American's are past this and it bears zero influence at the kitchen table. People waking up to $5 to $6 gas will destroy the democrats and they know it. This is a hail mary attempt to salvage a couple of seats.
