This question is part of the reason why I will continue watching.
Wasn't Nancy advised that there were reports of a large crowd gathering and protesting?
Isn't/wasn't SHE in charge of requesting reinforcements?

I’ve got a crazy hunch Nancy’s ‘investigation’ won’t reveal anything negative about Nancy. Most Americans share that hunch.

Which accounts for the general snickering one hears relative to this ‘Orange Man Bad’ theatrical performance.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Pelosi does not oversee day-to-day operations of the Capitol Police.

Also Trump lost and Biden is not senile. Come on guys just rip the band-aid off your psyche. It will hurt at first.

Not senile? Then what is it? He takes five tabs of LSD every morning after breakfast?

Who says she does oversee day to day operation of the Capital Police?

Beyond that, is she still desperately lying regarding the nonexistent cop who was bludgeoned to death by a Trump supporter?

She and Adam Schiff are very believable given their Trump Russia Collusion a hoax.

So what you're saying is, it was the republican's turn to try to stage a coup d'etat. Do the Dems get the next chance, or does it go to the independents?
No, I was simply answering the question asked: When was the last time they physically attacked it?

I answered that question.

And you answered one for me. You apparently think it's OK to plant a bomb in the Senate, because of the hour it went off and number of people injured. At least you admit it was a coup. As opposed to the violent protest that got out of hand on January 6th, where the only one to be killed was an unarmed protester.

Both incidents were disgusting displays. As is the hypocrisy.

1/6 was an ‘attempted’ coup, aka an “insurrection.” Just so you have your terminology straight.

This exactly. The only people I know that are drooling front of their TV screens watching are hardcore leftists, who hate Trump with a passion, and would never dream of voting R in their lives. They also, interestingly, do not mention Biden anymore. I can only imagine in their heart of hearts that they realize he's a disaster of their making. But they would NEVER admit publicly that they were wrong, so they're stuck with attacking Trump.

The rest of us are struggling to put gas in our tanks, food on our tables, and pay for energy to our homes.

I considered attending a Trump rally when he was first running, just to see what the hype was all about. I decided not to after reading about the violent attacks against Trump supporters by protesters. You know, where the police ushered supporters down a path where they were met by protesters that beat them with chains, padlocks and fists.

Spare me the hypocrisy.

So what exactly were the protests? An attempt to stop the transfer of power? Or just a protest?

If it were an attempt to stop the transfer of power, then his actions most assuredly are the same.
