I find it funny that Trumpies are trying to deny Trump had anything to do with the riot.

He asked them there (by holding the rally) he told them to march down there (peacefully and patriotically wink wink) and then told them he loved them (after he was browbeaten, by practically everyone including two of his children, into telling them to go home).

Yeah that’s what that was about.
He also told them to be peaceful before he told them to go home. He’s not a babysitter, and the protesters turned to rioters who left peacefully at curfew by 6pm.

Can you leave peacefully after you have already rioted and broke into somewhere?

"I know I broke into the mayor's house and smahed his home up, officer, but I left peacefully when asked."

Yep, and they did by curfew at 6pm, unless you have proof otherwise?

Because they were going to be hauled off to jail if they didn't leave.

That's not going in peace.

That's being forced to leave a building they weren't suppose to be in

There was little peace from that crowd.

Except they could’ve been taken to jail long before they left peacefully by curfew at 6pm.

Yes he did tell them to be peaceful (thanks for trying to get Pence’s head on a stick, now go home, wink wink) those very special rioters, whom he loves.

Trump egged on his supporters in the speech he gave earlier that day outside, Looking at how he started, by railing against the media, it's surprising that his [epple did not attack any journalists or reporters that day. But I guess they knew they could not overturn the electin that day. Mike Pence, on the other hand, coud. Well, according to Trump.

Quote:
Because if Mike Pence does the right thing, we win the election. All he has to do, all this is, this is from the number one, or certainly one of the top, Constitutional lawyers in our country. He has the absolute right to do it. We're supposed to protect our country, support our country, support our Constitution, and protect our constitution.
He said he told the vie-president that it would not take courage to overturn the election. It would take real curage to do nothing and let the vote stand. I have no idea what he thought that meant, but whatever.

Quote:
We're gathered together in the heart of our nation's capital for one very, very basic and simple reason: To save our democracy.
How did he think they would do that on January 6th? What do you think he meant?

Quick hits. We want to get this right... Democratic fraud.... Weak Republicans.... Scam of mail-in ballots.... nost outrageous and brazen theft.... It goes like that for a few minutes before going off on a tangent about the press again. Then it's back to Vie-President Pence.

Quote:
And Mike Pence is going to have to come through for us, and if he doesn't, that will be a, a sad day for our country because you're sworn to uphold our Constitution.
Next is his first mention about him walking down to the Capitol with them. First he says it is to cheer on the Congress, but next turns around and says there are some of them they probably will not cheer on. Then comes this quote which is very telling.

Quote:
Because you'll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong. We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated.
He adds to “peacefully and patriotically protest,” wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Then it is onto some self-congratulatory boasts about what he did as president before it's back to election fraud. He meanders around for a bit about Hillary and the “China virus” before coming back to the media and Hunter Biden. He's all over the place as normal. But then he adds

Quote:
We will not be intimidated into accepting the hoaxes and the lies that we've been forced to believe.
He claims for the second time that they have evidence of election fraud for the second time. The first time, he indicated he would show proof but he has not yet and doesn't now. Most f us would need proof to back his claim up, but apparently not his supporters. He makes claims that thousands of people dead since before 2000 voted, blames Democrats but offers no proof. He makes other claims with any basis in fact and then says

Quote:
You will have an illegitimate president. That's what you'll have. And we can't let that happen.
What does he expect them to do about that on the day the election is supposed to be validated? Then more meandering and by now I am scrolling. He mentions Liz Cheney, then mentions schools teaching kids that aren't so before more self-congratulatory BS. Can he ever just get to it? Back to more baseless allegatons making the point that the election was stolen. He stops and saying he could go on, but he won't because it's cold out there. Then he foes on making outrageous claims before coming back to something must be done.

Quote:
We must stop the steal and then we must ensure that such outrageous election fraud never happens again, can never be allowed to happen again.
Then he tells them what he would do next. Stop the steal, remember?

Quote:
If we allow this group of people to illegally take over our country because it's illegal when the votes are illegal when the way they got there is illegal when the states that vote are given false and fraudulent information.
More meandering and then he says most people would have conceded on Election Night. But he didn't because he knew something was wrong.

And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore.

A Call to Arms right before Congress is set to certify the stolen election, the one Mike Pence can stop.

Quote:
So we're going to, we're going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I love Pennsylvania Avenue. And we're going to the Capitol, and we're going to try and give.
And that was the speech by saying if you don't fight, there'll be no more America. He riles the crows up. It's in black and white. He called on them to be peacedul one, early in the speech, then listed all the crimes that had been perpetrated on him before telling them to walk to the Capitol and fight. There is no denying that.

The YouTube video lasts two hours. Is that how long he spoke? Sheesh.

Again, he wasn’t there to be a babysitter. There’s simply no proof that he incited a riot, unless you have proof that’ll hold up in a court of law?

150 cops were injured by that crowd. What do you think was going to happen if they started arresting people?

So how were they going to be arrested if they didn’t leave by curfew?
