Not any more. Ornato and Engel have both lawyered up and shut up. As a matter of fact, no one from the Secret Service is willing to come forth and offer to testify, even though originally their spokesman said they intended to do so, and the Committee welcomed them to come back.
The Left is not scared of anything. it is the GOP that is in the process of eating each other over who is a loyal MAGA and who is not, and nobody, repeat ***NOBODY***, has been willing to come forward and testify on Trump's behalf under oath.

Some may not want to watch, because they are afraid, they might hear the truth, or something they simply can't deny. They don't want to hear anything that might change their position or give them a pause.

How can a government branch (who only makes laws) declares criminally guilty a private citizen without a criminal investigation? Congress did a criminal investigation and declared Trump criminally guilty. The only thing they can't do is legally convict Trump or put him in jail but they did the rest. Abuse of power.

The way the committee is handling things is going to end up biting them and the DoJ in the nether region.
IF, the DoJ does prosecute, then it will be interesting to watch the cross examinations of those who'd testified to the committee. Those who'd given testimonies may end up being the defense's dream.
I wonder if the first to fall will be Donoghue?
