That's the deal. The hearings are not character assassination by the Democrats. These are Trump's own people testifying about him and what they saw as eyewitnesses.
It sounds like the vast majority of people weren't watching today. Dems figured their phony reality show would be a blockbuster, turns out it's a dud. Maybe they need to bring in some song/dance entertainment or give away prizes to try to revive it. No Emmy for the committee!

He is afraid people are watching the committee hearings and might believe what they hear from his former staff and advisors.
I wonder who wrote 12 pages for him. With footnotes, no less. He never wrote anything that long in his life.
