If there’s no avoidance then answer why you won’t use the word here?
I don’t use the word, you do, so let’s hear it. I know that you won’t explain yourself but this is kind of interesting .
I never said I wouldn’t use it. I said I will right after you do. Lol, I’ve already explained it many times.
I will say I don’t think it’s fair that we compare Black people to use of it amongst themselves with outsiders using it. It is two completely different context of words when used by another race of people other than Black people. For whatever reason that’s how it caught on and has remained. And if they want it that way, that’s their choice in my opinion. I personally as a society think we should just bury the dang word and never bring it back. For no purpose, nowhere, never to be found. Not in any song, lyrics, movie, just forget it existed.
Don't forget...all black people don't use it and don't pretend that it's some kind of term of endearment.
Regarding the N word, there is something I've always wondered. I've been told that the phrase "colored people" is offensive, but "people of color" is not. I don't get it.
They don't mean exactly the same thing. "People of color" means "everyone not white." "Colored people" refers specifically to ADOS.
American Descendants of Slavery. Distinguishes between those and voluntary African immigrants.
