Interesting how many of you seem outraged someone not even inside, simply protesting from outdoors, would be arrested but do the same thing in front of a Supreme Court justice's home and you're ready to get the noose out. Sad.
Did you even read your own linked article? He is guilty of harming a barrier. Nowhere does it say he went inside. That is a misdemeanor.

If they were armed with machine guns & hand grenades then you would have a valid point.
A coup would be pretty bad. But trying to burn down U.S. cities is even worse, imho.
Write Merrick Garland and request an investigation. Bill Barr wasn't interested in opening one when everything happened on his watch, but maybe Garland will be more sympathetic.
This is 100% politically motivated. If he wasn’t running for office, he would not have been arrested.

But yes the timing is suspect during tonight's play they can say the conspiracy went to the highest levels of government including governor candidates along with Trump's staff.
It is suspicious that Democrats on strict party lines picked off 3 GOP primary candidates after gnashing of teeth about democracy and now arrest a 4th candidate for kicking down a small barricade a year and a half after the fact.
If a person does not have enough signatures to be on the ballot, that person does not get to run. Simple.
It wasn't Democrats who threw them off, either.

You don't find it at all concerning the FBI came all the way to Michigan to arrest and search someone's house for a misdemeanor TRESPASSING charge? What evidence are they going to find in his house that he trespassed somewhere a thousand miles away, a year and a half ago? Would you be OK with the police searching YOUR house over a year-old trespassing charge? Mind you, he didn't even enter the capitol building -- they've arresting him basically just for being near there.
The people applauding this are the ones for sentencing reform. Yet they want to arrest people for trespassing or for even thinking about trespassing. Its amazing the hypocrisy.
