Parent’s Rights! Well no, maybe. Hmm.

You can't ban the internet though where kids learn everything whether you like it or not. Some parents are so naïve to think that banning things in schools will prevent their kids from learning it elsewhere.
You can easily block children from seeing anything you don’t want them to see on the internet. You can also monitor what your children are looking at on the internet - again, easily. I have one app installed on my phone and each of their devices (phones, computers, tablets) that lets me do those things. The only risk would be if their friends have unlimited internet access, and making sure that they don’t hang out with those friends unsupervised is also fairly easy. With modern modems, you don’t even need an app as you can block adult content with a few protocols. The app makes it easier, but it isn’t necessary.
I’ve had control of my children’s internet access since they each got their first phone, and we periodically discuss and change what they have access to as they get older and show more responsibility. It’s called parenting.

Why ? There’s no sex least that I’ve ever seen , but no, I’m not pro kids watching these shows, Personally. But they say parents have rights. I say they lie. They have rights as long as they agree with the agenda.
Really? You don’t seem to understand that such concepts, while appearing to be just and fair on the surface, can be taken to such extremes that it becomes destructive itself, let alone grasp the fact that it already has.
I cannot speak for anyone but myself obviously, but it’s been my experience in general that most people really do want to be fair minded, and have no innate desire to harm others. Of course there exists bad actors in life that don’t follow that mindset, and do harm others, in various ways for various reasons. Some of those reasons are fixed in the minds of psychopaths who actually find sadistic pleasure in harming others, while some simply act out of self interests, without consideration of its harmful effects, which can be described as narcissistic or sociopathic. But that doesn’t describe the majority who really do have a sense of obligation to treat others fairly, out of empathy and compassion.
The problem comes into play when psychopaths, sociopaths and narcissists exploit that fair mindedness for their own nefarious purposes, pleasures and benefits, because these types are not constrained by empathy and compassion. Therein lies the extreme naïveté in promoting such a ludicrous and self destructive concept of unrestricted acceptance of everything no matter how different.
The human experience has from the very moment of our existence required “discernment” as essential to our survival. Nothing has changed that fact of life, but only the apparent lack understanding of how important it is, and what that discernment requires.
The oft mantra that constantly reverberates from the left admonishing us not to “judge” others, might as well be rephrased to say “commit suicide immediately”. We have no choice but to judge, to measure, to assess, to evaluate, as a matter of basic survival. And we do this all day, every day of our lives, countless times in countless ways, from judging whether or not it’s safe to cross the street, to whether an approaching stranger is a friend or foe.
There are some whose “lifestyles” revolve around smoking crack cocaine all day, and burglarizing the community at night to pay for it. Should we be accepting of this lifestyle too?
Should we view the stranger wearing a raincoat who is lurking around the playground as a threat, or just assume he is expecting it to rain and simply wants to be prepared?
You people amaze me. The glaring error of your way of not thinking, has led to the insanity that we’re now forced to debate, when there should be absolutely no debate at all. But what started out as a call for fairness and tolerance has led to this craziness that defies adequate description.
It’s not a government overreach or some demonstration of abridging the rights of parents going on here … it’s a clear sign that certain people have lost their collective minds, and suffering some form of mass psychosis when they think it’s ok for male transgender freaks dressed up like female satanic demons to be reading stories to their children!!! The fact that DeSantis would even have an issue like this to deal with is beyond imagination. That’s the problem here.
I’m left to wonder sometimes if Elon Musk isn’t right when he claims we are living in a computer generated simulation, because it seems like the operators of that simulation are now testing to see how much lunacy we can deal with before our holographic heads explode.
