How so? Can you map that out specifically? I've heard everyone and their dog say this, yet nobody seems to have any specific points to back it up. So let's hear it.
You do understand that if the Government had wanted those unarmed rioters out of the capitol and it was that critical at the time, the military could have had every one of them dead within five minutes of arrival, right? You get that, don't you? So how could a few hundred unarmed rioters, who were in several cases waved in by police, have overthrown the US government with smartphones? I want specifics, not handwaving.

What threat to the Constitution? The real threat was the fake election. Biden was installed with fake votes, bought votes, illegal rule changes and massive voter fraud. Any means to an end is the immoral lefties mantra.

A big deal isn't made because the criminals who perpetrated those riots and insurrections were largely from two protected classes in our society that can do anything and be excused:
1) Hardcore leftists.
2) A segment of society that is coddled and can generally get away with anything lest those who call them out be branded as racists.

The ones that caused nearly three billion dollars in damage and costed a couple dozen lives and an untold number of assaults and injuries. You may remember those if you think real hard.
They will never move on from that. The left has done worse at the capitol several times historically (including bombing it), but most leftists don't even know of those incidents and those who do know, don't care. And in this case, if it would have been the left taking selfies in the Capital unauthorized during the Trump years, not a peep would have been made in the first place, and it certainly wouldn't be dragging on for years.
Then again, Jan 6 could be CGI as well.
