Consumer spending & tax revenues drives the U.S. economy.

If American consumers & taxpayers were to unite, we could crush the top 1%.

What if we stopped paying:

...income & property taxes? They couldn't throw us all in jail, & evict us all.

...utility bills like water, electricity, cable, gas? Are they going to shut us all off? Could they do it, even if they wanted to?

Just stop paying all tax & recurring bills, & anything that is non-essential to survival.

We'd squeeze their balz like there's no tomorrow.

This could be OUR great reset.

Why not? (I get some are medically unable, but that is a small %)

What makes you think it will affect the 1 percent?
They dont derive benefits from taxes.

Of course they do, and they also derive their cash through consumer spending.

Much of the top 1% are gov't parasites who live off tax dollars.

The big corps love how taxes keep the competition down. Meanwhile, large corporations find ways to pay relatively little, if anything at all.

Different talking point than OP. He claimed by us withholding out tax payments we would crusk the 1 percenters as if they derive their income from our taxes.

Consumer boycotts are extremely powerful. If consumers stopped paying consumer debt en masse, it would bring the top 1% to their knees, and imho, that is what is needed right now.

We need a great reset of wealth & income from the top 1%, but it must be grassroots.

I say it is a pipe dream. Dont pay bills, companies go bankrupt and people get laid off. Stocks become worthless, 401k s become insufficient to pay for your retirement. Some one comes in and buys your house on a tax lien because you will never get 100 percent compliance.

Less taxes, less services, less assistance to poor. More unrest, more crime. People are going to do what they can to survive.

Govt goes to more debt load, increases inflation rate which worsens quality of life for middle class and below.

If you want to pay less taxes, earn less, go to cheaper area to live, and get a smaller house.
Want to pay less for utilities, conserve and use less.
Dont do conspicuous consumption like cuises
