The Republicans lost both the house the senate and the presidency to the Dems due to Trump. Desantis could unite the never Trumpers to come back to the party.

I voted for Trump twice, and I dearly wish that he were president right now. But I don't think he should run again. Like it or not, he's seen as terminally damaged goods by way too many people, not only the ones firmly in the Democrat camp but also way too many in the middle. He got that way thanks to the shameless partisanship of the media and by congressional Democrats. It's not fair, but then again, what in life is? If Trump runs again, even against Biden or Harris, I'm not at all convinced that he would win. And we MUST reclaim this country from the clutches of the progressives who are doing their best to destroy it.

DeSantis has little of Trump's baggage (at least so far), plus he's a whole lot younger. Yet he seems, based on what I know at this time, to hold the same general policy positions. And he seems to be able to withstand the slings and arrows of the biased libs as well as Trump did. Even better, in fact, in that I don't think he gives himself over to Mean Tweets.

This is not to say that maybe someone else will come along on the GOP side who I'd like even better. But right now, if the choice on the right side is between Trump and DeSantis, then I'm going with DeSantis.

I went with DeSantis based on age - Donnie and I are the same age and I take a nap every afternoon, and so should he.

Trump. He has unfinished business. DeSantis in 2028 and 2032.

Poor widwl Twump.

He got there because of his lack of character and refusal to change that, as other Presidents from different sides of the aisle have said (regarding themselves)….’rising to what the office asks of you’.

Either one would cause further weakening and decline of our nation.

Correction: the republicans lost because the biased media used misinformation, omitted information, information taken out of context, and outright lies to manipulate the people and change the outcome of the elections.
