Big issue with EVs that no one talks about is that the range on the charge varies greatly based on the weather if it’s really cold out your range might be cut in half. You can only go 130 miles with a model 3. Big problem.
The price of EV's are also unsustainable. Will become even more so, if people start buying them now, as production will not be able to keep up, orders will pile up, inventory will plummet and car makers will not be able to hire enough people to keep up with demand. Let's not mention supply chain issues that will happen. C'mon, man, we're screwed.
I love how Democrats change up what the main sources of carbon dioxide happens to be on any given day to fit whatever narrative they feel like creating for that day. At least here in Denver/Colorado, we’ve been told that small gas engines are the largest source (lol - because they want to ban or have banned lawnmowers and other equipment by 2030) as well as gas stoves (lol - glad I have one now, but apparently in some cities, new builds won’t be allowed to have them).
Again, I’ve said it a lot in various threads on this forum, Democrats could have a winning issue here with an ‘all of the above’ energy strategy that includes fossil fuels for now, but tapers off use of them in the future when other sources are more viable, but they choose to go to the extreme and intentionally cause a ton of pain and misery in the process, but then act like innocent bystanders when the effects of their decisions and policy are noticed.
Remember gas lines back in the 1970's we said we were going to become less dependent on OPEC and fossil fuels in general. Once the shortage went away we did nothing for 40 years, although production increased demand also increased. Here we are once again dependent on foreign oil and the answer for some is just to increase production not decrease demand, we need to change.

That can't happen overnight. Biden thinks he can force it by crashing our economy into the ground with high gas prices but it won't work that way. Biden talks out of his arse.
