It was the cops who'd opened the Columbus doors and not the protesters. The video of this is in the link that had been posted in this thread.

As more 'obvious' questions are asked, without answers it appearing that to the common sense folks that Jan 6th was a setup.
At the heightened security alert, the Rotunda doors which are closed much of the time, secured by magnetic lock and codes, and can only be opened from the inside, were somehow opened. No answer provided on to who ordered and why.
Lots of articles & videos all over the internet about this for over a year and a half from plenty of sites, not just right-wing, and NeutralParty still asks this: Got a credible link to this information by any chance? Or is this just "what you've been hearing?"
NP, we the people have been played and we're still being played. Almost 100 comments later in this thread and still no one changed anyone else's mind, so I don't expect yours to be. The "hearings" taking place right now in front of an "unbiased" committee are downright creepy. Hatred of one man so embedded in the psyche of half the country, that they are blind to what's really going down here.
So which is it? Was the Right behind those doors getting unlocked? Or was it the Left? Or perhaps something even bigger and more sinister? Whoever teamed up to make that happen knew a lot about psychology and how to seize an opportunity....and how to manipulate a crowd to maximize that opportunity.
You are right, but imagine a cop waving a criminal into a bank vault and standing aside while he steals all the money. Then a month later, a cop shows up at the criminals home and arrests him for grand theft.
I can see how the criminal would be just a little bit confused.
In fact, a good lawyer could justifiably either argue entrapment, or say the officer was complicit in the criminal activity.
Police are supposed to stop crime, not enable it. A cop who encouraged a criminal to steal from an open bank vault and watched as the criminal walked away and then got in his car to drive home, would be an accomplice to that crime. He is not like a civilian who has no duty to stop a crime.
Even if the criminals or 'criminals' had a legal leg to stand on, they have no moral leg to stand on.

Apparently the sign they moved out of the way to open those Rotunda doors with the secret code.
