We both decided we weren’t having kids so she did the same, and I had a vasectomy. Better to be very safe in our opinion.
A vasectomy is a simple surgery and a one shot deal for men. Quite effective as well. And home the same day!

But just as women don't diligently practice birth control, men won't either. We're all equal in that respect.
I've been on "typical middle aged man" meds for BP for 10 years now. I've never gone even 3 days without taking them, and I can't even change my life by not taking them for 3+ days.
