It occurs to me that everyone who has admired Donald Trump for what they felt was independence, and standing up against the crowd, even standing against the leadership of his own party - those people should also be admiring Liz Cheney.

Liz Cheney Takes On Trump, and Her Own Party
When pro-Trump rioters burst into the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, demanding that lawmakers overturn the results of the presidential election, Rep. Liz Cheney’s first thought as she stood on the House floor was that the attack was her own party’s doing.
As Cheney, R-Wyo., and other lawmakers rushed to evacuate the chamber, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, a close ally of President Donald Trump, tried to help her move to safety. She smacked his hand away. “Get away from me,” Cheney told him, adding that she blamed him for what was unfolding.

Party members are not allowed to stand up to Dear Leader.

They are 100% controlled by one man. And they willingly bend ov--I mean, bow down to accept what he feels like giving.

But of course that's not the road to authoritarianism or anything.

She's a elite establishment, globalist sell out. Thankfully her constituents see that.

It helps when she calls them crazies.

Nope. Liz Cheney is the chip off the old block of her criminal father. She's every bit as bad as a Democrat, and THAT is saying something.

Liz Cheney seems like a middle of the road leader to me. Looking forward to what she does.

Liz "The Establishment" Cheney thinks this is going to help her somehow. She thinks all the Moderate Democrats and Establishment Republicans are going to rally behind her and give her a majority voting block. It's not going to happen.

I do give her credit though for not towing the party line. I actually like the fact that there are a few Republicans and Democrats that don't walk in lockstep with their party. In fact, I wish there were no parties and every politician made decisions on every issue independently of whatever group thinks.

She's done....unless she switches her political affiliation over to the Democratic party. She acts like a Democrat so might as well join them. Good bye and good riddance.
