I intend to.

In Western Washington State, I was never able to experience a feeling that my vote counted. So many people hated Inslee, yet he got re-elected. Everybody complained about the crime in Seattle and Tacoma, but kept electing dem city government.

I voted for Governor Kristi Noem and was never so proud as I was when I learned that the last abortion clinic in South Dakota had been closed.

You bet I'll keep it up.

We are doing our little hicktown best!

This place sounds wonderful!

Don’t be silly. We all know shemales don’t vote. They’re to busy shooting porn and being absolutely batchit crazy.

That is so True. When boys/men get together nicknames are often made up. There is also lots of kidding, jeering, rough housing, put downs and teasing. It is how males communicate and create comradery in the group. This happens all the time in the military and especially when we are placed in the same situations and relying on each other is paramount.

What is going to happen when the Trans person does not fit into this type of friendship with the others due to the buzzkill of not being allowed to act out? It is like when the boys are heading out to mess around and someones mom makes one of the boys take his little sister. LOL

There has to be some tension created when a Trans person is present because no one wants to offend that person and get in to trouble so that means the unit will act differently and not be as cohesive. This is a very similar affect that rippled through the military when women were allowed to take front line positions. The military solved that issue so maybe they will solve this one too but until then the "boys" will be forced to curtail their comradery else they offend someone.

Mmmmm...the "problem" with women in combat solved itself more than the military solving it through administrative measures. Women in uniform on the lines with men developed thicker skins. They adapted to being I'm that high stress situation. The military didnt adapt them to it.

Women learned how the operational tempo was fueled and gave as good as they got thus EARNING their place in the ranks. It was one thing for some group of strident macho lesbians to stand on a street holding up signs that claimed they were as good as any man for combat roles. It was quite another to get out there and prove it.

And it hasn't been those male emulating Hog riding lesbian man haters that earned women's place in the ranks. Its been normal everyday girl next door sorts that came in and rose to the occasion. That being said I do believe that a girl who grew up on a ranch punching steers in the company of men growing up probably has an advantage over a girl from the burbs that hung out at the mall.

But that transition that women of all backgrounds have made , earned, to being a "woman in the unit or on the crew to being an integral part of that unit or crew by stepping up and not being a powder puff is where these "trans" types are falling short.

The feel entitled to just be handed what its taken tens of thousands of women decades on back to earn by hard work dealing with a less than welcoming environment and slogging through the $h!7 to earn. Ah ha! There's the missing number in the equation.

this happens in the army too. seen many a white man get discharged because of pettiness from someone complaining he mis-gendered them.

So, based on my post-Tail Hook methods back when I was in the submarine force...best bet, speak to nobody, look down while walking, if you see khaki, look up long enough to see if you need to salute, then look back down at the ground. Speak to nobody, be friends with nobody, socialize with nobody.

The hypersensitive, perpetually offended will FIND an offense if you so much as say hello. So don't. Speak ONLY when spoken to, use as few words as possible, and if possible, never ever speak to anyone you don't already know without at least one witness.

In my post-Navy corporate life, the rule is even easier - if I don't know you, I am never alone even in a hallway with you, I speak only about business, and only if you engage me first.

Glad to see the Navy is focused on the big issues!

It was bad enough when President Biden got thirteen service members killed because of his stupidity in Afghanistan, but we look so pathetically weak in the eyes of the enemy... This crap needs to stop!

From the article:
That's about the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I hope the Republicans will be able to straighten out this sort of foolishness when they take the majority power, and I also hope it's not too late. It's bad enough in society in general, but in the military? Makes my time in the Navy seem useless.
