Seems like some are expecting to need to go to war, and wanting some expendable soldiers to send.

Oops, maybe I just let the cat out of the bag!

Must keep the war machine's cogs turning, I suppose, can't have a recession now, can we.

It's not just corporations and in fact it is more like smaller businesses that hire illegal aliens. True dat, if you dare object though you are labeled as a racist.

Results vary, often the corporations will skirt responsibility by hiring a contractor who in turn hires illegals.

But I don't have specific numbers on the breakdown so I defer and agree that there are a wide range of hiring entities.

If someone has a good source showing hiring breakdowns of illegals I'd love to see it and learn more.

Wonder whose counting them?

Because if you think this number is accurate, you are suggesting this administration has been able to track everyone who is 'illegal' -- which means they have been entered into the system for processing as an assylum seeker or refugee.

And I will add in the southeast -- there are many immigrants that do the jobs that are high demand, restaurants, construction -- so we should see these jobs at almost full capacity right?

I don't understand how any citizen of this country believes that an invasion of two million illegal aliens is a good thing.:s mack:

I’m guessing that 2 million number doesn’t include the masses of sham asylum seekers. We’ve likely reached 5 million all in, so far.

Mayorkas is a destructive operative.

No wall is high enough nor patrols deep enough so long as US businesses and people continue to economically engage undocumented people with out consequence.

A handful of states have made eVerify of all employees mandatory. One could drive a truck full of illegals through the intended loopholes and lack of auditing to make reasonably sure employer compliance.

Trump was opposed to a mandatory eVerify law, claiming it would be a burden on employers. In reality, it take seconds. Big Box businesses routinely use it, regardless of state law.

Big agriculture, meat/ poultry/ seafood processors/ packers, hospitality, restaurants, construction etc have state and federal lobbies to ensure the status quo. People don’t seem to care too much who cleans their homes, minds their children, mows their grass, plows the snow, replaces their roofs or harvests crops.

Florida has the third largest concentration of undocumented people- remarkable given it does not share a land border with another country. It’s E- Verify law is a joke.

People complain about sanctuary cities/ counties/ states and ignore sanctuary employers who pay cash.

If the main horror they claim is economic hits and labor shortage. Why don’t we just have temporary(1 year) work visas that don’t allow family members to accompany and no pathway to green card. I’ve heard of the H2A, but it’s very restrictive and useless.

Of course this could only work if birthright citizenship is revoked and a closely monitored labor analysis agency to make sure the labor needs are there.

The H1B program is bogus and should be abolished. We already have a limited visa program for the uniquely talented. Americans should be cultivated for the backbone of the tech work force. Only using Indians and Chinese is racist imo.

This. Easy case for impeachment, and he should be gone as early as next year, but he won't be.
