In other words, no…and it’s very easy to conceal a gun without it being noticed.

Yes it is! Amendments to the constitution are valid - there is a process for that. It is about the intent of the amendments when they were passed.

By your reasoning,

13th - still allow slavery

14th amendment - goodbye 5th amendment rights for slaves and others naturalized

15th - goodbye rights to vote due to race

16th - Income tax would not be allowed - so much for taxing the rich.

17th - Can't vote for Senators - they are appointed by states - with Dems controlling 18 states and Gop 32, the senate mix would be 36 Dems, 64 Gop - might be real good.

You get the idea - careful what you wish for.

Can't claim you didn't see the sign because the law says as long as the sign meets the laws standards your charged with trespassing. Most don't want to leave their guns in a car could get stolen most just don't open carry. This goes for CCW as well have to carry a tiny gun can't be seen fanny pack style stores security will spot that call police. Realistically NY could even make it a felony lose your gun rights.
In Arizona - it is nowhere close to 99% with the no weapons signs - I would say it is less than 50%. In NV, you see very few signs except outside of the casinos.

Doubt it would be made a felony in NY - but could lose CC permit rights.

Why not bring back slavery? The 13th amendment wasn’t in the original constitution. The Founding Fathers never would have put the 13th in there, so it should be repealed. Let’s take originalism to it’s logical conclusion.
I guess it’s back to committing treason and insurrection to get rid of this evil rule of law.

Southern Democrats tried it for the Civil War, surely nothing could go wrong again.

let’s just say in liberal land, the supreme court ruled on slavery. what would that mean? the states get to decide. do you honestly think any state in this day and age would partake in slavery? ridiculous argument.

Your knowledge on this subject is laughable. Your post proves you haven't been taught much about our nations Founding.

Gotta say, when you think the left can't get any dumber, another one steps up and goes "hold my beer".
