“They ain’t seen nothin’ yet,” Waters raged. “Women are going to control their bodies, no matter how they try to stop us. The hell with the Supreme Court. We will defy them. Women will be in control of their bodies, and if they think black women are intimidated or afraid, they got another thought comin’. Black women will be out in droves. We will be out by the thousands. We will be out by the millions. We are going to make sure that we fight for the right to control our own bodies.”
Apparently, as far as Waters is concerned, that fight involves illegal defiance of the Dobbs v. Jackson decision. What’s the word for that sort of thing? Oh, yeah: insurrection.
Waters culminated her diatribe by reminding everyone to get government sanctioned shots - after all, there is no choice in the matter. *sarc
Meanwhile Nate Silver barges in with the yoga mats and introspective meditations for the bummed out Lefty losers:
Quote:
If you're a progressive concerned about conservative judicial overreach then frankly a) it's probably just getting started; b) there's not a lot you can do about it in the short term (other than win elections). So maybe it's time to expand the time horizon to 5, 10, 20 years.

Maybe focus. Maybe stop threatening violence and riotous criminality, and accept it's actually going to take real investment and work if you can even hope to take us back to the days when killing children was A-OK, no questions asked.
But we all know "work" is anathema to their "ethics".

good for her! women need to defy the Court and their state legislatures!
The constitution was written by people who didn't even see black people as human beings.
Highly questionable interpretation. But regardless, it's the job of the Supreme Court to interpret the Constitution, not pass judgement on those who wrote it.
Oppressed gulag prisoner uggabugga has a relevant insight.
Or at least he sent me one from someone else:

In case anyone was wondering, threatening to assassinate a Supreme Court Justice doesn’t violate @Twitter
rules. But people get suspended for stating scientific facts.
So Mad Maxine may not have any basic grasp of anything remotely resembling facts, but at least the regime will defend her right to continue to catapult the dangerously stupid.
The constitution was written by people who didn't even see black people as human beings.
And yet nowhere does it say "the right of white men..." or "white men shall not be..." In fact, unlike even the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution does not even use the term man and uses "people." Perhaps these people just had the foresight to consider a future world where everyone was truly equal, but still had to operate under the norms of their day.
Hopefully Maxine encourages her followers to bum rush the fence to Supreme Court, so Supreme Court police can open fire on unarmed female protesters. Libs LOVE that
