When it comes to abortion, I never really thought much about it because I thought it was already settled. Apparently, that has all changed and I am forced to think about this issue. The only thing I can say at this point is, both sides have valid points. But, ethically and morally, I think it's hard to defend the killing of an unborn baby if you believe life starts in the womb. Has science ever determined definitively when life starts?
All the cells are alive even before the moment of conception. But so is a skin tag in one's arm pit. When those cells become a human being is a theological debate. All justices striking down RvW are Catholic, they have the strongest view of any religion that it is at conception and even birth control is sinful. Jewish beliefs vary from 40 days to even at birth, in Islam 120 days is the cutoff.

I don't think that poor people are anywhere near the majority in getting abortions.

49% of women seeking abortions in the U.S. are below the poverty level.

"masses of kids" ??? Abortion is not banned.

We probably have more illegal kids on welfare than citizen kids.

The age group that has the most abortions is the 20-29 group. Teach them about contraception as birth control; not abortion as birth control.
Link to your more illegal kids on welfare than citizen kids?

So what you are really saying is that since most abortions are performed on Women of Color and poor women, the real message from Liberals is that if you are a woman of color or poor is that your baby's life means nothing, so just get rid of it so we don't have to deal with it or you. Compassionate Liberals...
No. Thats what you are saying.

My state allows abortion. Red states that absolutely ban abortion and then work hard to remove any chance the poor kids have to a healthy and productive life are saying those children are worthless.

And what % are in "Blue" states where Dobbs won't have any impact?

If they don't, the children still need to eat.

I don't know. What does that have to do with anything? Taking away women's bodily rights anywhere is taking away women's bodily rights.

Abortion has been declining for years. We're going to need these kids as too many young people aren't having kids, trans aren't having kids and many who support abortion don't plan on having kids. I even heard one proabortion protestor say her mom should have aborted her.
