I worked for 2 cruise lines. The clientele were older. You couldn't pay me to go on Carnival, Norwegian, Disney, and Royal Caribbean. Those cruises are going to become like flying is now. They were already like being at a shopping mall on the seas.
No one knows how to act properly, anymore.
I'm also going to guess it was a cheap cruise. They have a lot of money to make up after the last couple of years, so I'm betting they're offering low prices for the crappy rooms in order to fill the ship.

We went on a cruise probably 20 plus years ago now and it was a deal that we got through the people we were on the cruise with.
I was not impressed at all, this was back when people weren't so crazy on cruises or flights like these days. It was Carnival Cruise and it was just like a floating Best Western in my opinion. Bunch of drunk frat boy bros were on the cruise too.
The food was just blah, heard stories about all of the great food. LOL, it wasn't my cup of tea, I doubt I'll ever do another one.
I know if I did a higher end cruise line it would be nicer, but I don't know, it's not my deal I think.
These people now just have no idea how dumb they look.

Big brawl on one of those about 4 years ago. Kicked off a family with like 20 people on a group cruise and that was over someone stepping on a flip flop.
Mix booze with low class people and you get what you get.
