True. However, Jeff Bezos is a huge Democrat supporter and far leftist. He owns the Washington Post which prints mostly Democrat talking points and promotes their leftist agenda. The Democrats must want Biden out and to not run in 2024. Maybe Kamala or Michelle will run. Watch for more anti Biden statements form committed Democrats and other Marxists to unseat Biden. Even they know he is a train wreck and unfit for office.

Keep this in mind...if they were not making a hefty profit...stores would not bother selling it!
My (non-rich) uncle ran 2 gas stations for about 30 years.

They make their money selling beverages, lottery tix and assorted other highly marked up junk.

The gas is the leader to get people to spend at their store instead of another.

This is widely known, same things grocery stores do selling things like eggs and milk with low profits so they can sell you other stuff.

Exactly. And shows Biden and others don't understand how these businesses or the industry ie gas station works.

I believe that several states have laws that prevent gas stations from *dumping* or selling gas below cost.

This was a tactic used to drive out any new competition and then raising prices again after the competition went out of business.

The Biden admin first met the inflation surge by denying it was happening, then claiming it was temporary. They missed a significant period of response to get going on this topic and then were far behind, looking terrible and then have blamed just about everyone and everything for inflation.

Biden and others are looking at gas stations as all corporate owned when some are franchises. But then again many leftist hate small businesses and owners. They don't like people being financially independent. The small business owner doesn't need or depend on government. They want everyone strung out on government like a junky on crack.
