A fertilized human ovum, not implanted in the uterine wall is not a pregnancy.
I have seen some on this forum argue that a fertilized human ovum, not implanted in the uterine wall IS a baby. That is why they argue that an IUD for example, which prevents it from implanting in the uterine wall is considered an abortion.
I disagree with that, unless age restricted. I agree under 13 may not know, but teens would know pregnancy is a risk and the weeks allowed should be the same as the general local state law.
You can't assume at what age a young preteen or teen learns the "facts of life."
Any minor should have the option to abort because a minor cannot give consent for sex... it would be considered rape.

And they can't argue this one away without looking like heartless monsters. Sex by an adult with a minor is legally rape. Now they have to explain how victims of incest and/or rape don't get an exemption because...
And I guarantee none of those lawmakers would ever insist, let alone force, their own child or grandchild to carry a pregnancy if that minor was impregnated. No matter what they claim to their rightwingnut voters.
If this story of a 10 year old pregnant girl is even true. I would take it with a GOS
You are being naive to think this kind of thing doesn't happen. Be prepared for many more horrible stories like this between now and the November election.
For every 10 fertilized eggs, between 4 and 6 never make it to implantation.
That's mother nature.

Yep, but that doesn’t change the scientific consensus that life begins at conception, aka fertilization.

Where did that poster say that "this kind of thing doesn't happen"? Perhaps you should reread his comment, he was talking about a specific story that had not been verified.
