Now, we can't even use a black person's silhouette during target practice because it's soooo triggering and 'racist.'

A Michigan police chief has issued a public apology after reports that targets with images of Black men were seen at his department’s target practice area.

Concerns about the images were initially raised in April, after a Boy Scout troop toured the building used for target practice by the Farmington Hills Police Department, according to CNN affiliate WXYZ.

A photo taken by an unidentified individual on the tour shows at least three hanging targets of Black men holding weapons and a group of children gathered around one of the posters.
The targets have since been removed, Farmington Hills Mayor Vicki Barnett confirmed to CNN.

Why are they using a Black man's silhouette in the first place? Why specifically a Black person's silhouette?

because a dark target on a white background is easier to see at distance, the target doesnt represnt a black man, just a man of any human makeup. They have always been color contrast

maybe the human should not walk around looking like the paper target

Did you read the attached article?

You know, not everything is about race, right? And, you do not capitalize the word 'black', unless it is at the beginning of a sentence, or used in a title. Colors are not capitalized, however, races are.

This "story" is a non-story. And, it shows weak leadership. They should be defending this, not changing the standards because a "woke" Progressive got their panties in a bunch...

Ink is black. Paper is white. And last I checked a silhouette of a man looks pretty much the same regardless of skin color. Any questions?

Or does the target have text at the bottom, "I am a black man"?

Or if they are actual photos of men... what, should they all be white men? Isn't there such a thing as a black criminal?

I was watching a cop show today with a scene about a SWAT team training to clear a house. Target poster guys were white. As a white guy, I should probably be enraged. But curiously enough, I'm not. Because that would be stupid.

Its extremely offensive (apparently) and most def not PC to continue to use 'black' with lowercase. I still do it mostly because of what you say... but also partly because it's a simple way I can refuse to lend credence to the stupidity of all the wokeness and the endless shouts of racism.
