The Justice Department announced today that it has filed a lawsuit against the State of Arizona challenging voting restrictions imposed by House Bill 2492 (2022), a recently-enacted law set to take effect in January 2023. The United States’ complaint challenges provisions of House Bill 2492 under Section 6 of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA) and Section 101 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

This is pure BS. What other sovereign nation allows non citizens to vote?

What a brain dead loser running our country

Who has to duty to prove or disprove citizenship when registering to vote? Must the rules be the same for state and local as federal? That's the question. States set the rules for voting. Some states allowed women to vote long before the rest did.

What resources do states have to verify ID and citizenship of people who register to vote. Can a local voter registrar for a county or a SOS access records?

Seems like if anybody I apply to for credit can know my life history in a few seconds, any SoS can have access to credit reports, arrest records, social security yada yada.

All any county or state needs to do is verify citizenship and deny a voter registration.

At least Arizona does not require people to name how many jelly beans are in the jar.

Didn't the Supreme Court toss out NYC's law that non-citizens could vote in local elections? This case won't go far in that case.

This "letting EVERYBODY vote without proving citizenship" melds PERFECTLY with letting the whole world come here to be taken care of. It's called communism, folks, and we voted for it when we voted against Trump. America got EXACTLY what it voted for! Three more years of Biden/Harris will do the trick.

I had to have a birth certificate, which shows I was born in the US. I also needed that, a social security card, passport, and two pieces of mail addressed to me at my home address.

Liberals are insane. EVERY legit citizen in the US has some form of official, verifiable identification to do anything in a modern society.

Let's face it- dems just want to expand another way to cheat. This is why we must, at some point, separate ourselves from the liberals, as they do not abide by laws (which makes elections fair) and do not believe in the Constitution, which is the basis for and insures the individual rights of men.

That's just dumb. The Justice Department should read the 10th Amendment. Maybe Biden should too

I knew these idiots would try this. I knew somehow they would allow these illegals to vote now. I've been saying this all along. They just didn't seem to even care about changing their ways to get more votes from the American people so they of course want to cheat.

They know this would be the only way they'd stand a chance. Trump predicted if Biden won, republicans may never have another president. This would upset a lot of people and won't sit well at all. I hate these losers.

Biden and the rest of the loony left don't give a rat's patooty about the 10th Amendment or any other Amendment, just like they don't give a damn about the rest of the Constitution.

If any of the moron liberals cared about the welfare of the citizens of this country they wouldn't be going around trying to destroy everything about it because it hurts their tender feelings.

They're wasting the court's time by doing this, then. You would think Biden's counsel would tell him that it won't work.

Don't these politicians know the Constitution or the Amendments to it?

Don't answer. It's a rhetorical question

They are all blooming idiots. They have no business occupying the white house. But when people are in office because of cheating, this is what we're stuck with. Even Obama said he didn't think Joey should run. Obama knew Joe was an idiot also.
