"The toxicity in our public discourse is a thing that I think we should all be concerned about," Lightfoot added. "We have got to focus on what brings us together and not what tears us apart, and we've got to get back to respect for each other and respect for community. That's the thing that concerns me the most over the arc of the last two years."
Lightfoot, who in May urged a "call to arms" regarding the leaked draft opinion signaling the eventual overturning of Roe, criticized Justice Thomas at a June 25 rally for his role in overturning the landmark case when she was interrupted by someone in the crowd at Chicago's Grant Park. She responded by yelling, "F**k Clarence Thomas!"
There needs to be some sort of weekly Hypocrisy Award site on the internet. Kind of like the old "Darwin Award" thing. I don't know how much more hypocritical the left can get without spontaneously combusting. It's nearly everything they say and do now. And the kicker is that they seem to be completely oblivious to it. Twilight Zone material.

More people have dead in Chicago under Lori (Beetlejuice) Lightfoot time in office than all of the roaring 20s gang wars.
Well, let's be exact. It was a little different than folks are making out. As Lori stated:
Quote:
“That’s why, when someone in the crowd at an event this weekend yelled, ‘F**** Clarence Thomas,’ I yelled it right back. And I meant it,” the mayor wrote.
More like agreeing with a controversial statement than throwing out an expletive.
And that makes it excusable?
If at one point a conservative said something like "That N**** Justice needs to go", and another Conservative said, "Yep..what you said". You know that MSM, and every "rights" group would be out there nailing both of their rear-ends to the proverbial cross even though only one actually said the word.
