The reason is because red states didn’t keep up with the mandates of Covid, they allowed people to decide, places opened back up quicker. We need to learn to live with things like Covid we can’t continually shut down. There will be other viruses that will come along.

Yes, that is certainly a major part of it. That and understanding businesses employ people and are not the enemy of the people.
