Hard to take those of you who claim the border are "open" seriously. If you also can't see this as political posturing, it's no surprise that you think we have "open borders".

If a submarine has a leak, it's not open except where it's leaking. There are places where the border is wide open and those 'places' change.
First of all, this is an invasion.
There should be sharp shooters in guard towers picking these people off as they try to cross.
Hopefully they’d only have to take out a few dozen before potential invaders get the hint.
What are you going to do, start shooting anyone who is brown? Your numbers are not anywhere close to reality. 250,000 per month implies 3 million people a year coming into the country, and that is not happening.

Reagan tripled the debt in 8 years. Republicans believe in big government. They are 2 faced. CPAC invites Romney and Trump? Neither are anywhere close to conservatives. The republican party is nothing more than lip service sellouts.
They don't care about the border unless they live on it.

Trump did do better than probably any President as far as the border is concerned. He wasn't good enough.
We don't have open borders. And states have no authority to enforce immigration laws. This "invasion" angle makes for nice politics - nothing gets Republicans riled like "open borders" - but has no chance in the courts. Even in the right wing Republican Supreme Court. Republicans are being played.
Years ago in Arizona the Minutemen had to stand down. Even illegals are persons and have some Constitutional Rights.
